Meet Margaret Gerwels, MSN, FNP-BC

Margaret Gerwels is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing center and is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care for individuals and families across the lifespan. With a strong commitment to evidence-based practice, Margaret ensures that every treatment plan is grounded in the latest clinical research and tailored to each patient’s unique needs.

Margaret earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay and went on to earn her Master of Science degree as a Family Nurse practitioner from Purdue University. This diverse educational background has equipped Margaret with a broad perspective and a deep understanding of holistic care.

Margaret believes that effective healthcare begins with truly listening to her patients. She takes time to understand their concerns, values, and goals, fostering a welcoming environment where patients feel heard and respected. Through open communication and shared decision-making, Margaret partners with her patients to develop personalized care plans that empower them to take an active role in their health and wellness.

Margaret is passionate about preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and health education. She is dedicated to building trusting relationships and making a positive impact on the lives of her patients and their families. Outside of the clinical setting, Margaret enjoys reading, crocheting, photography, traveling and spending time with her husband and 7 children.
