How the technology works, briefly

EMSCULPT NEO emits radiofrequency and high-intensity electromagnetic energy at the same time. The radiofrequency raises muscle temperature by several degrees — the equivalent of a warm-up — which prepares the tissue and begins to break down fat cells. The electromagnetic energy then drives supramaximal contractions the muscle cannot produce on its own.

Doing both at once is what produces results neither single-purpose treatment reaches on its own — and it saves you the second course of sessions. One 30-minute session is the equivalent of 20,000 crunches; doing that many yourself would take roughly twenty hours without stopping.

Is this the right treatment for you?

EMSCULPT NEO treats patients with a BMI up to 35, which is a wider range than most body-contouring devices allow. It is also a common choice after pregnancy, where diastasis recti — separation of the abdominal muscles — has not resolved with exercise alone.

It is not a weight-loss treatment, and if weight is the actual goal we will tell you that at the consultation rather than after six sessions. Sometimes the right order is medical weight management first, contouring second.
