This is the hormone side of the practice, end to end — establishing what is actually going on, then treating it. HRT and TRT both sit here, and so does the honest answer that your symptoms are coming from something else.
Testing has a place in that, and we use it where the result would change the plan. What a lab report cannot do is settle the question on its own: the same figure can sit behind two completely different sets of symptoms, so the plan starts from the person rather than the printout.

When it is worth looking at hormones
The usual reasons:
- Fatigue, mood changes or sleep that has not been right for a while
- The menopause transition — hot flashes, night sweats, cycles that have changed
- Low testosterone in men: energy, muscle, mood, libido
- Irregular cycles, or skin and weight changes that track with them
- Labs that came back normal when you do not feel normal
What happens next
The point is what you do next. We sit down with the history, the symptoms and any results, and build a plan from them: changes to how you live and eat, supplementation, hormone therapy, or onward referral where that is the right call.
