How we practice

Candescent was founded to work differently from the rushed, assembly-line appointments frequently experienced in today’s health practices. In our practice that means three things.

Appointments have time in them. Most of what we treat — hormones, weight, intimate health, sexual function — cannot be reached in the time a standard slot allows. So the slots are longer.

Care is trauma-informed. Every exam is explained before it happens, you can pause or stop at any point, and nothing proceeds without you saying so. If exams are difficult for you, tell us and we will work around it.

We will tell you when something will not work. If the treatment you asked about is not the right one for your goal, you will hear that at the consultation rather than after six sessions.

Tell us what is going on, or call (574) 334-7444 and we’ll find you the right person.

Accepting new patients

Appointments longer than you are probably used to, with people who will remember you next time.
